More Awards for Media Students
The Packaging Association of Canada (PAC) awarded two Humber students for their designs in PAC's Student Competitions challenge. Entrants created new label and carton graphics for Sprite beverage and redesigned a container for Kraft salad dressing and its package shipping case.

Humber Men's Basketball Coach Receives Canadian Colleges Athletic Association Coach Of The Year Award
Darrell Glenn, the 2009 Ontario Colleges Athletic Association Men's Basketball Coach of the Year, has been named as the 2009 Canadian Colleges Athletic Association Men's Basketball Coach of the Year. This honour was announced on Thursday night (March 19, 2009) at the CCAA Men's National Basketball Awards Banquet, which was held at the University of Northern British Columbia in Prince George, British Columbia.

Humber students display model cars at auto show
Students from Humber's Industrial Design degree program showed off their work at the recent Canadian International Auto Show. The students participated in an in-class competition involving the design of an electric car and the design of a car interior. The winners went on to the auto show to display their work.
