Mission Statement:

The University of Regina became an independent degree-granting institution in 1974, but its history traces back to 1911 when the formation of the city of Regina and the province of Saskatchewan were just in their infancy. In the 28 years since it became independent, the university has expanded to incorporate three specialized colleges located on its sprawling campus with two satellite sites in Saskatoon and Prince Albert. With ten different faculties geared to offer over 100 different study options, prospective students will find almost any program of interest can be tailored to their specific needs in pursuit of professional Certificates, Diplomas, Bachelor, Master and Doctoral degress. Clearly a leader in education and advanced scholarship, the University of Regina is expanding every day with the addition of new programs and state-of-the-art buildings ready to satisfy eager minds.
