Mission Statement:

Olds College has been a central feature of Olds -- once known as "Lone Pine", since 1913, and has grown considerably from its humble beginnings of teaching agriculture and home economics. The College recently developed the Centre of Innovation, a department whose mandate is to work diligently with government and industry in areas of applied research, product and business development. Phase two of the Botanic Gardens was officially opened for public enjoyment in July 2002 by Lieutenant-Governor Lois Hole. The town of Olds sports a population of 7500 people, and serves as a major service centre and regional market for another 40,000 scattered throughout Mountain View County.
