Mission Statement:

The Atlantic Paramedic Academy was founded in 2001 by St. John Ambulance, who have been training ambulance personnel since 1975. The goal of the Atlantic Paramedic Academy is to provide accessible and comprehensive training to ensure that high quality paramedicine care is available. As well, the philosophical basis of the institution is the promotion of human dignity, mutual respect, justice, security of all persons and ethical behaviour. The career parademic programs are accredited by The Canadian Medical Association (CMA), and follow the National Occupational Competency Profile (NOCP) as developed by the Paramedic Association of Canada. Campuses are located in Moncton, Fredericton and Tracadie, and students can take the programs in French or English.
