Mission Statement:
Huntington University is a liberal arts university that is federated with Laurentian University in the city of Greater Sudbury, Ontario. Huntington has its own charter and grants its own degrees in Theology; however, Huntington also administers programs leading to Laurentian University degrees in Communication Studies, Ethics, and Gerontology. Research centers at Huntington reflect its belief in community participation: the Center for the Study of Aging contributes to research at Laurentian University, and the Center for Holistic Health reflects Huntington's heritage with The United Church of Canada.
