METROPOLITAN COMMUNITY COLLEGE

METROPOLITAN COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Mission Statement:

Metropolitan College has two campuses in British Columbia: one in Burnaby and one in Mission. Certificate and Diploma programs are offered in the areas of business, counselling, criminal justice, health and social services, and hospitality. Classes are small -- between 10 and 15 students -- so the instruction is personal and focused. The College is an approved international center of the University of Cambridge (founded in 1207) in the United Kingdom. The College also has links with criminal justice research institutions, in particular with the BC PEACE Foundation, and some programs are offered at University Campuses Abroad (UCA), which provides opportunity for cross-cultural exchange and experience.
