NORTHWEST COMMUNITY COLLEGE: PRINCE RUPERT

Mission Statement:

While Northwest Community College has grown to include six campuses and four community learning centres across an area of about 105,000 square kilometres, Prince Rupert is one of the larger campuses. Full-time programs include University Credit, Electrical, Welding, Carpentry, ACEIT, Business Administration, Essential Skills for Work, and English as a Second Language Training. Three niche programs, unique to the College, are offered at this campus: the Marine program, the Applied Coastal Ecosystem program, and the Coastal Eco-Adventure Tourism Certificate Program. Northwest Community College honours and reflects the diversity of Northern BC's First Nations populations, and provides quality education that prepares students for successful, positive futures. .
