About the Secondary School International Program

The Greater Victoria School District is located in Victoria, the capital city of the Province of British Columbia. Victoria is on the west coast of Canada and is known for its beauty, unspoiled natural setting and moderate climate.

International students have the option to study with us for a semester, a year, or all the way up to graduation. Our programs are based on British Columbia’s globally recognized, government approved curriculum and offer ESL instruction and support. The Academic High School Program fully integrates international students with Canadian students and allows students to tailor their studies to individual interests and career goals. Students wishing additional support may enrol in our Academic Transition Program, a one-semester academic program which prepares students for success in the Canadian public high school environment.
