Buildings & Resources

Located on over 130 hectares of land in south-west Thunder Bay, Lakehead's Faculty of Engineering provides "smart classrooms", GIS labs, and computer teaching and research labs for students. All students receive individual computer and email accounts. The C.J. Sanders Fieldhouse offers a fully equipped gymnasium, weight and combative rooms, squash courts and an Olympic-size pool. The multi-sport athletics facility, which opened in 2005, houses an indoor running track, multi-purpose indoor field, aerobic/yoga studio, weight room and fitness centre, climbing wall, student lounge and sports medicine clinic.
