Ivey ranked 47th in the world's top 100 business schools and #1 in Canada (Financial Times, January 2009). Criteria used in the rankings are grouped into three main areas: alumni salaries and career development (55% weighting), the diversity and international reach of the business school and its MBA program (25% weighting), and the research capabilities of each school (20% weighting)
Ivey alumni salaries and salary percentage increase continue to be the highest of all Canadian business schools (Financial Times, January 2009). The three-year average salary for Ivey is $105,272
The bi-annual Business Week survey ranked Ivey as #4 in the International ranking and #2 in the poll by recruiters. Additionally, Ivey received straight "A"s on its report card for General Management, Analysis and Careers, and scored an A+ in the Teaching category. This ranking is based on survey responses from both current graduating students and recruiters (45% weighting each) as well as the intellectual capital produced by the business schools (10%)

The Ivey MBA Program takes place at the Ivey-Spencer Leadership centre, about a 5-7 minute drive from the University of Western Ontario (UWO) main campus. In addition to the state-of-the-art classrooms, the property sits on 30 acres of parkland where students can enjoy on-site walking and cycling trails and outdoor recreation, including a high-ropes team-building course. Other amenities include free parking, fitness centre, games room and DK's Bar and Grill. In 2011, Ivey will open the doors to a new $100 million dollar building on the main UWO campus.
