Webcasting Live from Athol Murray College of Notre Dame!
October 12, 2007 marks the first live webcasted broadcast of the Hounds. Log in to our website to view various teams and events throughout the year via a webcasting system. Parents, families and friends can watch our by signing up for webcasting and paying a $7.00 fee per event. Here's how to sign up:
1. Log onto the Notre Dame website at www.notredame.sk.ca.
2. Click on the Webcast button in the bottom right hand on the home screen.
3. A schedule of events for the month will appear. Click on the webcast button on the bottom middle of your screen to be directed to the user screen.
4. You will be directed to a screen that tells you the next event, an area for new users and existing users.
5. If you are a new user, click the sign up button and complete the information.
6. If you are an existing user, click here for the prompt asking for username and password.
7. New users will choose a user name and password to log in to webcasting.
8. Login in with username and password, click order now and submit credit card information.
9. Approval screen will appear, click on broadcast for viewing screen.
10. You will be ready for viewing at this point...Good Luck Teams!
There will also be additional taped events and impromptu events throughout the year. Check the webcasting site for the next event scheduled for broadcast. Tell your friends, we'd love to have them visit us!

Delta School District: Proposed Equestrian Academy Coming September 2008
On Wednesday, September 25th, the Delta School District had a very successful turnout for the first public meeting regarding the proposed Equestrian Academy that is planned to be up and running for September 2008. Over 100 interested parents and students from all parts of the Delta School District and neighbouring districts attended to discuss the formation of the exciting academy. Vice Chairperson Teresa Townsley and Superintendent Steve Cardwell opened the meeting and welcomed all those in attendance. Trustee Dale Saip explained the history of "Choice" programs in Delta and described the successful South Delta and Burnsview Hockey and Seaquam Girls' Softball Academies. Vice Chairperson Townsley led the discussion on why the Delta School District was considering creating an Equestrian Academy and invited questions from the audience. Assistant Superintendent Garnet Ayres spoke to the process that the District will be following to create the academy and stressed that the academy will have a strong academic foundation. Vice Chairperson Townsley advised that the District was just beginning the planning and emphasized that to ensure the success of the academy there will be an ongoing need for public input and consultation. Each person who attended was asked to fill in a questionnaire. The questionnaire is available in pdf format and will be available to complete online in a couple of days.
