Dana Rambarran, Hospitality and Tourism Administration, 2002, International Student
Conestoga College
Kitchener, Ontario
Just over a year ago, I made a decision to travel to Canada to further my education. Already one year has past, and I still really believe that this decision was the right one. At Conestoga, the classes are generally small with respect to the number of students; the Professors are always available to assist you and strive to ensure you will be successful in your chosen area. As an international student at Conestoga College, it is always nice to have a place where I feel welcomed and secure at all times.
Kentaro, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Numerical Control Program
Oshawa, Ontario
The best thing that has ever happened to my life was having the opportunity to learn English. I'm doing well in my college course and realize that I owe everything I've learned in Canada to the EAP program at Durham College, The best college in Canada without a shadow of a doubt.
Roberto Curvo, Brazil, Third-year Business Administration Marketing student
Fanshawe College
London, Ontario
As an international student, Fanshawe College provided me with a relaxed and friendly learning atmosphere, a high level of education, and exceptional learning facilities. Through co-operative education, I gained real work experience that, combined with a well-respected diploma, earned me an immediate job placement after I completed my program.
Richard Joseph, Trinidad, West Indies, Architectural Technology and Survey Technician programs

My stay in Toronto has also given a boost to my English skills. Thank you for being so kind and helpful. I am going to recommend George Brown to everyone who wishes to gain experience overseas in a fascinating, multicultural atmosphere.
Baha Arab, Germany
Georgian College
Barrie, Ontario
Working at Money Concepts for my co-op work term was a fabulous experience. I am now one step closer to achieving my goals in the times to come. Studying at Georgian was an excellent choice as well, and through Georgian, I am able to visualize my goals.
Suhel Malhotra, Business Administration, 3 year program, Graduate of Computer Programming, 2004, Transfer from CIIS, India
Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning

I made Humber my choice for postsecondary education because I wanted an outstanding education, as well as the experience of studying in a diverse and progressive environment. Humber offers the best of both worlds.
Nancy Cardinez, Trinidad, UNB-Humber Bachelor of Nursing
Laurentian University
Sudbury, Ontario
The small classes give me the chance to discuss and communicate with people who have different opinions. High quality education, friendly people, nice environment and the first-class facilities make me love this university.
Jia Long, Fourth-year student in Commerce
Loyalist College
Belleville, Ontario
It was the right decision that I chose Loyalist College. Since Loyalist and Belleville are both smaller communities with few chances to speak Japanese, it proved to be the perfect place to improve my English. Loyalist has also been a great step towards my future career as an architect. Now that I have my diploma, I am continuing my studies at university.
Reiji Moroshima, Japan, Architecture Technician - 2 year Diploma Program
Mohawk College
Hamilton, Ontario
It's been a wonderful experience to study Television and Broadcasting at Mohawk College. They provided me a great opportunity to work in the industry during my placement term. Professors and counsellors have always been supportive through my years. If you would like to experience multicultural society and also have a great academic year, Mohawk College is the place to be.
Kaoruto Kinoshita
Ryerson University
Toronto, Ontario
I wanted to be in Canada but I wanted to be at a school with other people from India. At the same time, I also wanted to meet people from all around the world. Ryerson was one of the most diverse universities that I knew of. Moreover, I'd heard that the staff and the professors were helpful, and I've found that to be true.
Rohit Narula, India
Seneca College of Applied Arts & Technology
Toronto, Ontario
Seneca was my only choice. They had the program I needed to advance my career, and after talking to other international students studying there, I knew I could count on the professionalism of the faculty, getting the co-op work placement I wanted, and be surrounded by international students from all over the world. Winning two scholarships and having an off-campus part-time job, is the icing on the cake!
Aman Bhatia, New Delhi, India
Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning
Oakville, Ontario
I am particularly impressed with the International Centre...warm, friendly, dedicated staff who are always ready to help and really make their students feel welcome...I am fortunate to be living in a diverse community that is not too big and overwhelming.
Lian Chang On, Trinidad and Tobago, Bachelor of Design (Honours) Program, Year I
Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning

Sheridan was one of the best experiences for me. The facilities, staff and the education at Sheridan are exceptional. For an international student, a Sheridan experience means a complete education.
Piya Wadia, India, Corporate Communications
St. Clair College
Windsor, Ontario
My experience at the College was amazing. When I got hired my employer told me that it was because I had a St. Clair College diploma; it was a big contributing factor to getting the job. They knew I had the right knowledge and skills for the job.
Dayna Roberts, Graduate - Manufacturing Engineering Technology, 2005
The Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences
Toronto, Ontario
I find everything that I learn at Michener to be very interesting and relevant to my chosen career. I like the way that all my classes complement each other and everything ties together.
Leslie Edmunds, Radiation Therapy
Trent University
Peterborough, Ontario
They say that at Trent professors are readily available and especially approachable; that class sizes are small and your professors will know you on a first name basis. This could not be more accurate! To this day, I still say hello to my first year professors, and they actually stop and chat with me. These are the kind of things that make Trent so special; the things that have made me not regret my choice at any time.
Mario Rubio, Mexico
University of Western Ontario
London, Ontario
The University of Western Ontario has provided me with unparalleled academic opportunities and guidance for my scholastic endeavours. As a student, the support that I have received from both my professors and academic counsellors has transformed my university experience into a vibrant and fulfilling education.
Sarah McConnell
University of Windsor
Windsor, Ontario
My first impression of this university was its welcoming atmosphere for international students like myself. I felt the eagerness of others to make me feel comfortable, which dispelled any prior fears that I had of an intimidating North American university. Academically, the courses have been challenging, yet healthy for growing minds, and the professors and teaching assistants are encouraging and always approachable for additional help.
Sudipa Chatterjee, England, 2nd Year Faculty of Science
Ontario - Capital City: Toronto
Canada’s industrial and financial centre, Ontario is home to the world-famous Niagara Falls; Canada’s capital, Ottawa; and a very large francophone population. It is bordered by Quebec to the east, Manitoba to the west, Hudson Bay and James Bay to the north, and the St. Lawrence River, the Great Lakes and the United States to the south. Canada’s second largest province, Ontario is an area larger than France and Spain combined and has a population of over 12 million people. The name “Ontario” is generally thought to be derived from the Iroquois word “Skanadario,” meaning “beautiful water.”
A must-see attraction in Ontario is the thundering Niagara Falls. Not far from the falls is Stratford, which hosts the annual Stratford Festival. Farther to the north is Toronto, an international destination where you can experience exuberant night-life, live theatre, excellent museums and galleries; see one of the world’s tallest free-standing structures — the CN Tower; or catch a glimpse of some of the Canadian and international stars who visit on a regular basis. For sports lovers, there are many professional sporting events to attend, including baseball with former World Series Champions, the Toronto Blue Jays. To learn more about Canada’s history and government, you can visit Ottawa, the country’s capital.
