KNOWING WHAT COURSES TO TAKE
What courses you choose for your university transfer program will depend on the requirements of the college, of your major, and of the university you want to transfer to. Some courses may be accepted by the university, but some may not. Some courses-especially those in highly technical programs--may be offered by the college in association with a university. Depending on the college, the university transfer courses may be marked in the college's course calendar. Many colleges have specifically designated university transfer programs, while in other cases, it is up to you to ask whether the courses you take can qualify for university transfer. The advising departments of both the college and the university in question will be able to help you determine which courses you need to take.
