Is Medical Insurance Included in Tuition and Fees?
All International students must have medical insurance to study at a Canadian school. For a fee, many schools have an institutional health insurance plan that students can participate in and at many schools, health insurance fees are charged automatically when students register for courses. If students wish to opt-out of the school plan because they have arranged their own health insurance, they must provide written proof of equivalent medical coverage to the school they are attending. Please check with the school you wish to attend to determine if they include medical insurance in their fees for international students.
