International Baccalaureate (IB) programs at the high school level are designed to provide high school students with an international standard of education for entrance into post-secondary institutions world-wide. The program is currently run in over 130 countries, including Canada, where 128 schools offer the Middle Years IB program and 125 schools offer the IB Diploma Program. The program includes a diploma exam that is often recognized by colleges and universities.
