French as a Second Language (FSL) semester programs are designed to run for one or more semesters (usually lasting between 12-15 weeks) during the ordinary school year. Often structured like standard academic classes, they are convenient for students who wish to add them to another program of study, or who need regular hours of instruction over a longer period of time. FSL semester programs may be offered at high schools, colleges, universities and private language institutes.
