Intermediate French as a Second Language (FSL) programs are designed for international students who have some familiarity with French and wish to gain proficiency and confidence. Intermediate students have a solid grasp of the basics of French, and are ready to move on to more complicated aspects of the language. Intermediate students may have taken FSL courses before, or they may speak some French in the home or have other experiences with the French language. Intermediate FSL courses may be offered at high schools, colleges, universities and private language institutes.
