From comprehensive universities, undergraduate and applied studies universities to community colleges, polytechnic institutions, specialized art and culture institutions to private colleges, Alberta offers a range of post-secondary experiences designed to meet every international student's needs.
Information on the different pathways international students can take to earning an Alberta undergraduate diploma, associate's degree or bachelor's degree is also presented. These include transfer of individual course credits earned at an Alberta or other Canadian institution to an Alberta university, block transfer of an entire year's worth of studies at an Alberta community college or a complete college certificate or associate's degree, or transfer of course credits or complete credentials from a foreign university or college to an Alberta post-secondary institution.
Specific information is also presented on applying to Alberta university and colleges. Two routes are identified - ApplyAlberta is a new online application system that will let students apply to one or more post-secondary institutions or international students may apply directly to their choices.
